You will learn how to convert your landscape into native gardens to help boost biodiversity, ecosystem health, and food system resiliency - $10 per person.
In this hands-on class, Chef Jorge Baldiviezo from Masa at the Stonington Velvet Mill will welcome you to his kitchen and teach traditional and new takes on empanadas fillings and the fine art of hand crimping. $100 for the entire class at the Velvet Mill!
Yellow Farmhouse and Stone Acres farmers will help you create a blueprint for your beds, plan for produce throughout the growing season, manage weeds and pests sustainably, tend tomatoes, cultivate your soil, and put your garden to rest in the fall. $35 per workshop, or $150 for the entire five-class series!

Calling all aspiring young chefs, ages 7-11, to join the COMO and Yellow Farmhouse Education Center for an exciting multi-week series of hands-on cooking classes. Throughout the program, chefs will explore essential cooking techniques, from knife skills and "mise en place" to learning different cooking methods such as sautéing, baking, and grilling. Each week, young chefs will build confidence in the kitchen, experiment with fresh ingredients, and create delicious meals to enjoy and share.
