Kids’ Programs Overview

The Yellow Farmhouse offers an array of age-appropriate classes - for kids as young as three through high school - that teaches about food and how it gets to the table to ensure that the next generation is invested in a sustainable food system.

In our culinary skills classes, kids learn the basics of scratch cooking using fresh, seasonal foods as we highlight a different local ingredient, such as eggs, honey, apples, or potatoes. Kids learn how different crops are grown and prepare a light meal or dessert and develop skills for independence in the kitchen.
